Mango smoothie for clearer skin

Let’s be honest, mango’s taste awesome. But whats more awesome is the fact they are also loaded with beta-carotene (2mg per cup!), an antioxidant that is a safe source of vitamin A and does wonders for clearer skin. Want to rid your body of toxins and get that fruitful glowing skin, give this smoothie a go!

This smoothie is rich, sweet and tangy and the mango alone contains 500 times the recommended daily allowance of beta-carotene.

Ingredients for a Clearer Skin Smoothie

Yield – 1 large glass
¼ cup mango, cubed
¼ cup mashed ripe avocado
½ cup mango juice
¼ cup fat-free vanilla yogurt
1 Tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice
1 Tbsp sugar
6 ice cubes


Directions

Add ALL your ingredients into your blender and blend until smooth. If the consistency of the smoothie is a little to thick, slowly introduce some water to thin it out. Though we LOVE our smoothie thick here and we LOVE our clearer skin too!
